Rubber forced speed decelerator (speed bumps) are segmented systems made of rubber elements that may be quickly and easily assembled on any base (asphalt, concrete...) of any width. Their assembly or disassembly is performed quickly and easily using anchors that provide solid, reliable and long term connection with the base. Assembly does not require additional processing, cutting through of segments or special preparation of the pavement (creating indents, precise leveling).

Segments are produced of profiled vulcanized rubber. Segment surface has relief texture that prevents sliding. Basic segments have convex shape and they are connected to the base using 16 anchors. Two segments have total depth of one meter.

White or yellow (per customer’s request) reflective tape is glued onto the basic segments, symmetrically distributed on the surface of the segment, occupying 40% of the area. Apart from the color that increases visibility in daytime conditions, the tape also has retro-reflecting material (glass and ceramic beads) that significantly increases the segment visibility in conditions of reduced visibility (dark, fog…).

Properties of the rubber used to produce the segments are as follows:

  • profiled vulcanized rubber with hardness of 80±6°C Sh-a,
  • temperature range of exploitation from -40°C to +80°C,
  • weather resistant,
  • UV resistant,
  • resistant to oil derivatives,
  • resistant to salt,
  • wear resistant.

Rubber spherical caps may be quickly and easily assembled on any base (asphalt, concrete...) with minimum width of 23cm. Their assembly or disassembly is performed quickly and easily using two anchors that provide solid, reliable and long term connection with the base. Assembly does not require additional cutting through of a spherical cap or special preparation of the pavement (creating indents, precise leveling).

Spherical caps are produced of profiled vulcanized rubber. Spherical cap surface has relief texture that prevents sliding. 6 rubber spherical caps are placed per m².

White or yellow (per customer’s request) reflective tape is glued onto spherical caps, symmetrically distributed on the surface of the segment, occupying 30% of the area. Apart from the color that increases visibility in daytime conditions, the tape also has retro-reflecting material (glass and ceramic beads) that significantly increases the spherical cap visibility in conditions of reduced visibility (dark, fog…).

Properties of the rubber used to produce the rubber platform segments are as follows:
